Glittertatta is the brainchild of two very silly best friends and a long night in Las Vegas. After much... going out, and then barely four hours of sleep, Sophia and Kaiti decided to end their 2011 Las Vegas vacation with a trip to the Wynn Hotel's buffet. And that's where it was discovered- the GLITTER CUPCAKE. A miniature red velvet cupcake with cream cheese frosting, which would already be appealing, but the fabulous Wynn hotel had decided to cover this cupcake in glitter. It was beautiful.
After several more trips to the buffet and accosting the baker for information on said cupcake glitter, the girls suddenly realized how much the world could be changed if they used this edible glitter for good. There are so many tired housewives in this world, who just want to come home and make a simple, delicious meal, and have it still somehow seem... well, schmancy. Cupcakes don't actually need glitter! But something as simple as a fritatta? It so could use some dressing up.
So basically, glittertatta is a mission to make simple, delicious food- but with pizazz!
